THE FILIPINOS OF THE MODERN WORLD

 

I was touched by the two films that I have watched ( Heneral Luna and Goyo ang Batang Heneral). Generals Luna and Del Pilar fought the Spaniards, the Americans and other traitor Filipinos for us to be free. As I try to look the present situation of the country, the Filipinos of the 21st century do not have the qualities of a Luna and a Del Pilar, since they want to grasp ignorance and want to be enslaved by their modern political idols.

The Filipinos of the 21st century are clearly far from the qualities of the fallen heroes of the 1896 Revolution, and the unforgettable heroes of the Filipino-American war, for the Filipinos of today can be likened to the virgins who fall in love to a whore, because they have forgotten the tales of the past, and have even embraced the traitors of the country as their so-called saviors.

The Filipinos of the modern era are quislings, who easily collaborate with the moneyed fellow brown skinned political buccanneers to further ravish the country. They (the unprincipled Filipinos of the modern era) fall prey to the traitors of the country because of rumors short of evidence making the images of the rumor mongers more likeable.

The innocent Filipinos of the cellphone age think like they have already known everything by virtue of their portable, little crystal ball they call cellular phones, when in truth and in fact, the same invention of modernity becomes the reason of the fall of their country through fake news.

In the light of the peddling of bad propagandas by the traitors at the cyber world, the modern day Filipino can no longer ascertain the truth from fiction, and worst for him ... lies become the truth, and the truth becomes the thing of the past which needs to be forgotten.

The modern day Filipino's mind eventually was stolen by the purveyors of lies, and eventually his future is also snatched by the political aristocrats who would like to reign over the Filipino eternally.

THE GREATER ENEMY OF THE FILIPINO IS HIMSELF

Brothers, we have a greater enemy than the Americans ... ourselves. - Gen. Antonio Luna.

Until now, the greater enemy of the Filipino. are not the foreign invaders nor the fellow Filipinos turned traitors but the common Filipino himself. The Filipino revolutionaries fought with the Spaniards in 1896, but the supposed victory by the Filipinos against the Spaniards was derailed by the personal political ambitions of Emilio Aguinaldo by ordering the execution of his rival Andres Bonifacio and his brothers.

The Filipinos have not finished their fight for freedom against the Spaniards because the Filipinos' colonizers changed hands after the Spanish-American war, which war was won by the Americans who later become the new colonial masters of the Philippines.

The fight by the Filipino revolutionaries for freedom under America was not realized by the same by way of an armed struggle, because the freedom fighters were fragmented due to envy and insecurity, as a matter of fact, Gen. Antonio Luna was killed by his fellow freedom fighters who were clearly supported by some politicians who have some leanings to America like Buencamino, and even by Aguinaldo who was personally threatened of being probably booted out of power via a military coup d'etat.

The Philippines would later secure its independence from America through diplomacy, and not through armed struggle.

When Japan attacked the Philippines for being an American ally, plenty of Filipinos turned their backs from their loyalty to their motherland and sided with the Japanese. The Philippine struggle against the Japanese aggression was partly stifled because of some Filipino collaborators with the Japanese. Again the Filipino had shown in such a page of Philippine history that he himself was his own enemy.

During the dark years of Marcos's Martial Law, the Philippine dictator, Ferdinand Marcos Sr. has destroyed the Philippine democracy and economy, because of his ambitions in perpetuating himself from power and for enriching himself and his family via his almost DIVINE RIGHTS OF KINGS style of ruling. However, after a twenty-year political slumber, the Filipinos have awakened and revolted against Marcos which became the key to his deposition from power, and the rest as they would say is history.

Almost four decades or exactly thirty-six (36) years of Marcos's deposition from power, his son and namesake Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. was elected as the seventeenth (17th) president of the Republic of the Philippines. This reprehensible turn of events is indeed a great sign that the Filipino is a forgetful creation of nature, that he himself has not learned from the pages of Philippine history, and that he HIMSELF IS HIS GREATEST ENEMY.

PUTIN MUST BE STOPPED

 

Vladimir Putin, Russia's undisputed national leader is reported to have the quest of reviving the old Russian Empire and is rumored to take Alaska, a former territory, now a U.S. territory, back to its former old mother country.

Putin's dream of reviving the old U.S.S.R. can be evidenced by the Russo-Georgian war where South Ossetia and Abkhazia became independent territories of Georgia via Russian military intervention, the Russian invasion of Crimea, the civil war of Ukraine's DONBAS REGION being backed by Russia, and the recent Russo-Ukrainian war where Russia is the aggressor.

Due to the independence of South Ossetia, and Abkhazia from Georgia due to the military succor of Russia, the said new independent states became technically satellite states of Russia. In view also of the Russian invasion of Crimea, the same became part and parcel of the new map of the IRON CURTAIN.

Belarus, a close neighbor of Russia, fearing its safety, technically became a satellite territory of Russia, and has connived with Russia in many aspects. Belarus even became the entry point of Russia in attacking militarily Ukraine.

Under Putin, the Russian territory has widened, and its geopolitical influence became gargantuan, but Eastern Europe's democracy is in peril. In conjunction with this Putin must be stopped, since he is like a mad man having ambitions to widen the territory of his so-called "beloved motherland" via war and violence.

Based on the past actions of Putin, he wants to regain the lost SUPERPOWER STATUS of the former Soviet Union by expanding the influence of Russia internationally, as a matter of fact, he ventured into the civil war of Syria siding with the Syrian dictator, Bashar Hafez Al-Assad. Once Al-Assad and the Syrian military win the civil war Putin and Russia would wield gigantic political and economic powers in that part of the Middle East.

Once Russia regains its SUPERPOWER STATUS, the same might revert to communism because Putin is a hardcore communist. Putin was schooled as a communist, he served in the Soviet Secret Police or the KGB, and he was the right-hand man of Boris Yeltsin, a communist hardliner himself before Putin rose to power.

If ever Russia would go back to communism after regaining its geopolitical hegemony status, it is going to spew evil again by trying to conquer small but democratic countries of the world and preach hatred against free speech, freedom to travel, freedom of religion, private ownership, freedom of suffrage, and freedom of assembly.

In view of these premises, Putin must be stopped. The United Nations, the European Union, and the mother of democracy, the United States of America, must find ways to quell Putin's gigantic political ambitions because the same might pave the way for greater global damage.
