HAMAS IS PLAYING THE VICTIM CARD

After Hamas has stormed Israel and killed more or less 1,400 Israelites on October 7, 2023, Israel retaliated by announcing an all out war against Hamas, and after the Israel Defense Forces have eliminated many Hamas warriors and officers, the same terrorist group is crying foul claiming that Israel has committed GENOCIDE against the PALESTINIANS.

The question is this ... did Israel commit GENOCIDE against the Palestinians? This question can be answered by way of defining what is GENOCIDE. GENOCIDE is defined as the deliberate killing or severe mistreatment of a large number of people from a particular national or ethnic group with the aim of destroying that nation or group.

After defining GENOCIDE, another question may crop up; did the Israelis deliberately killed or severely mistreated a large number of Palestinians with the aim of destroying the Palestinian nation? The answer is a BIG NO, it is because the more than 10,000 Palestinians who were killed in the cross-fire in the recent Hamas-Israeli war were not deliberately killed by the Israeli Defense Force because they were notified 24 hours before the strikes to evacuate since the IDF will strike Hamas anytime, yet the notifications of the IDF were not heeded by the Palestinians for the plain and simple reason that Hamas were using them as human shields.

Naturally, the Gazans (Palestinians) who won't leave the war zone would be caught in the crossfire, since most of the tunnels of Hamas are underneath the Gazans' homes, hence, if the IDF bombs the Hamas tunnels, the houses of the Gazan civilians including them would be ruined and/or killed. To sum it up, the Palestinians who were killed in the crossfire have defended Hamas with their bodies so that the same may survive, simply put, they connived with Hamas.

Granting arguendo (for the sake of argument) that Israel is guilty of committing GENOCIDE in the recent HAMAS-ISRAEL WAR, then Palestine/Egypt/Syria/Iraq/Jordan/Lebanon were also guilty of GENOCIDE for trying to deface the Jewish race in the 1947-48 war between the ARABS-PALESTINIANS vs. the JEWS. Remember that it was Palestine which was aided by Jordan, Syria, Iraq, Lebanon, and Egypt which started the war in that forgettable and reprehensible epoch of history.

The Palestinian side would also claim, that the Israeli Defense Force have inhumanely bombed hospitals in Gaza to the chagrin of the people of the western world, however the Israeli Defense Force can produce evidence like results or products of its radars which would prove that it was Hamas misfiring of its rockets which caused the destruction of the said hospitals.

It is very sad to note that Hamas is playing the victim card by saying that the people that they represent are being obliterated by Israel, when Hamas is actually using its people as a stonewall for the same to survive in the recent war. It is very discouraging to see the truth that Israel is being charge of GENOCIDE when it is simply exercising its sovereign right to defend herself, and the saddest thing is this ... the approximately 1,400 Israelis being killed by Hamas in its Israeli invasion were overshadowed by the so-called genocidal acts of Israel when she only exercised her right to self defense and seek justice over the murders that were done by Hamas on its citizens.

WHAT HAS BEEN DONE, CANNOT BE UNDONE

The Marcos apologists cannot be swayed by the explanations of the concerned citizens of the country not to vote the younger Marcos, even the Catholic clergy's persuasion to dislike Marcos Jr. fell on deaf ears; and the election result was ... a deafening victory of Marcos, Jr. as president of the Philippine Republic.

Now, Marcos, Jr. is now on his eighth month as the undisputed leader of the Philippines, and it seems like he is not doing something for the good of the country. For eight straight months, the economy of the republic under his baton is bearish, and it seems like the longer he is at the helm of the presidency, the sicker the Philippine economy becomes.

As we take a look during the campaign season from October 2021 to May 2022, Marcos, Jr. did not offer anything to the people in his campaign trails/sorties. What Marcos, Jr. would always talk during his campaign meetings was UNITY, nothing more, nothing less. He would not talk about his foreign policy, economic policy, and even domestic policy. 

His campaigners' voices were reverberating over the social media saying over and over again, that if Marcos, Jr. would be president, the Marcos family would give  the Filipino people tons of gold coming from the Marcoses themselves, because they have plenty of it due to the fact that the elder Marcos was a gold trader even before he became president.

Now, after several months from the younger Marcos' presidential victory, the so-called MARCOS GOLD which his supporters  have waited for a long time has not arrived yet, the country's economy is the worst in Southeast Asia, unimaginative inflation rate is climbing faster each month, and some of his supporters are hitting each other.

As this writer would scour the social media, plenty of Marcos Jr's supporters have repented for their undoing which was about electing him as president of the land. Many of his supporters are now silent when the advocates of good governance would ask them as regards to the accomplishments of the BBM Administration. 

The silence of Marcos Jr's supporters is very shocking because they were so unwavering during the campaign period, their energy in campaigning for Marcos Jr. was in full throttle, yet they are now silent, quiet, and calm. Does their silence means regrets for the wrong choice that they have committed on the forgettable 2022  presidential elections?

Well, only one thing I can say in conjunction to the indecision Marcos Jr's supporters have done IN RE: THE 2022 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS; they cannot undo their regrettable decision, FOR WHAT HAS BEEN DONE CANNOT BE UNDONE.

 

THE FILIPINO LACKS CRITICAL THINKING

Rodrigo Duterte and company would blame the so-called DILAWANS for the bad state of the Philippines when the former was still running for the presidency, the legion of Marcos Jrs' trolls would point their fingers to the DILAWANS for being the inventors of corruption from 1986 until the last presidential elections were held, and that Marcos, Sr. whom they alleged to have been destroyed by the DILAWANS was actually a hero. To the dismay of the intelligentsia, many people especially from the lower rung of the society believed that the DILAWANS were the villains as regards corruption thriving in the Philippine society, and for having invented tales which contributed to the downfall of the elder Marcos.

The alliance between Duterte and Marcos Jr. was formed prior to the 2016 presidential elections; the results were a resounding victory for Duterte but a close vice-presidential loss for Marcos, Jr. Since then, the voices of the trolls of the Duterte-Marcos camp were reverberating all over social media platforms, which contributed for the presidential victory of Marcos Jr. in 2022.

The people believed the bad stories hurled against the LP party members, otherwise known as the DILAWANS, not knowing that Duterte himself was a DILAWAN, who became one because of his mother Soledad Duterte, a PEOPLE POWER advocate of Davao City in 1986 who supported Cory Aquino during that particular era. Rodrigo Duterte became OIC Vice Mayor of Davao City in the process because of his being a DILAWAN The vast majority of the Filipino voters, also did not know that Marcos the elder was himself an LP party member before the 1965 presidential elections,  he only bolted the L.P. party because of his presidental ambitions in 1965, therefore making the old Marcos a former DILAWAN himself.

If these happenings in the Philippine political history were discovered by the so-called naive voting populace of the Philippines earlier, their choices for the presidency in 2016 and 2022 would have been different, because in the true sense of the word, Duterte and Marcos Jr. are also DILAWANS which also contributed to the downfall of the Philippines.

The sorry state of the country nowadays, can not just be blamed to the DILAWANS (if the accusations against them are true), but also against Duterte and Marcos who are great purveyors of fake news, and to the voters of the Philippines who lack critical thinking for not knowing that Duterte and Marcos were once upon a time DILAWANS.
