1) He has unexplained wealth
For all we know Jejomar Binay has been in politics
from 1986 'til now, it means that he is already twenty-eight years in politics.
Now the question is this, does the salaries he had and he has as a public
official enough for him to have such wealth he has now? The answer is a
resounding "NO".
2) He is building a Political Dynasty
It is of public knowledge that aside from Jejomar
Binay, he has another relatives in government service, and they are no less
than his direct family members. His son Junjun is the current City Mayor of the
highly urbanized city of Makati, his eldest daughter, Nancy is also a Senator
of the Republic and his youngest child, Abigail is one of the two
congresspersons representing Makati City at the House of Representatives
(Representa-thieves). His wife, Elenita was also a one term City Mayor of
Makati. Now another question is this are the Binays be considered as good
examples of so-called public servants when they want to own almost all
political positions in the archipelago and when they as a family are accused of
alleged corruption? The answer is again ... another resounding "NO".
3) He is too old to be President of the Republic
If the Filipino people had rejected the offer of
former Senate President Jovito Salonga, a Bar Topnotcher, Doctor of Laws,
outstanding Senator, outstanding Congressman, authority in International Law,
and former three time number one elected Senator of the land to be President of
the Philippines on the ground of old age (Salonga was 72 y.o. at that time)
during the 1992 Philippine Presidential elections, then there is no reason for
us to reject Jejomar Binay's candidacy for the premier political position of
the land the Presidency since Binay was born sometimes in 1942 and he would be
73 years old running 74 years old on election day. If the Filipino populace had
rejected the candidacy of the best President we never had, Jovito Salonga, a
great defender of freedom because they thought he was too old to run the
country, then the same must also reject the founder of one of the leading
political dynasties of the Philippines, human rights lawyer turned corrupt
leader and an OLD MAN in the person of Jejomar Binay.
